Art and commerce make wonderful bed-fellows, together creating a necessary tension that elevates the work. Your writing can be as creative as all get-out, but it takes talent and research to write good copy. You must understand the product, its history, know the foibles and successes of its competitors, and understand the customer. Then you reach your audience, communicate an idea to them instantly, and make them take action. It's telling a story that is understood in a few seconds, using a few words. This can only be accomplished working with a great team of creatives and marketing people.

Copy writing for website's opening animation. In collaboration with Keiler & Company, (me on the client side) I provided copy elements for their CDAC B2B Public Service Interactive silver award-winning animation.

I am the PR/Marketing/Fundraising Committee Head for the organization, and completed production management for the website's development.
Copy writing for the organization's new website, farmingtonvalleyfilm.org. I took their business docs and turned them into web copy, as well as providing content and production management for the website's development with an independent developer and with Martino & Binzer.
Wrote script for 60-second video promo (in production) introducing THE BIG IDEA: Not just another pretty face. Supporting the mission to attract major film productions to the Farmington Valley, as it is both beautiful, and has conveniences of every kind.
I currently help with publicity for the organization, placing articles and press releases in local publications and websites.

I managed production and wrote the functional specification of the new BMW Accessories website for BMW dealers, as well as managed production elements for BMW's ICS program, a "digital signage" project that plays MPEG video on wide-screen displays in BMW showrooms.

For the Dalai Lama Foundation, working in tandem with Tank Design of Boston, I turned business documents into web copy, as well as created copy layouts for "The Missing Peace" website.
For Media Circus, I wrote the proposal, functional specification/treatment and game elements, emulating author, Jean Marzollo's poetry style, for the I-Spy: Treasure Hunt CD-ROM

When the Coca-cola Company wanted to re-introduce Cherry Coke, they hired Media Circus to make it happen. I wrote the treatment, collaborated on THE BIG IDEA and produced the website.

For Media Circus I collaborated on game design, production and wrote character dialogue for a promotional game for Sony's new CD-ROM Discman.
